Each year, Sir Toby's Beers of Norwich Market organise an Oktoberfest event featuring genuine Barvarian beers found at the real thing. The 2020 'Oktobyfest' event will be no different with beer being poured from all six Munich Breweries - Paulaner, Hacker-Pschorr, Lowenbrau, Hofbrau, Augustiner and Spaten. Sir Toby's also arrange a shipment of other well respected German breweries, including Andechs and Schlenkerla.
It's not all about the lager, with the event offering everything from Weissbier to Dunkels and smoked beers (rauchbier). There will be five draught beer lines available alongside a large selection of bottles.
Arguably the most enjoyable part is shouting about the Norfolk, Suffolk and UK breweries that are recreating these historic beer styles as best they can. This year's event will include beer from Ampersand, Duration and Calvors as well as a large number of independant craft breweries from outside of East Anglia.
23rd September - 4th October
Throughout July and August, Sir Toby's Beers created a safe drinking environment at their home on the historic Norwich Market. 'Sir Toby's Biergarten' is an open-air space made up of 10 individual tables with benches. The canopies from the market stalls create cover from an rain and it's table service up from the stall to ensure no one needs to queue.
The set-up for Oktöbyfest will mimic this with groups of between 4-6 people booking a table for the duration of the evening. Apologies we cannot accept bookings for less then 4 people due to being limited to 10 tables.
The evenings will see a collaboration once again from numerous food stalls on Norwich Market, who will be making a specific menu for the event. Expect everything from bangers to mushy peas and mint sauce!

The evening runs from 18:00 - 22:00 each night with doors at 6pm. The afternoon session on Sunday 4th October is from 13:00 - 17:00. It's table service and card payments only.
